...right back where I started from."
Well, we made it safely to California last night. We are so very grateful for everyone's prayers. We will be staying with Nathans parents in Riverside while we search for a place to live in Los Angeles.
While planning our move and after doing some math, Nathan decided it would cost less if we moved ourselves as opposed to having a shipping company haul our belongings for us. So he found someone selling a 30' trailer that he had used for hauling snowmobiles and purchased it. It will also double as a storage unit until we can find a house. The plan is to sell it when we are done with it.
The trailer ended up weighing 15,000 lbs., so needless to say it took a bit longer to get here than it normally does. At one point we lost a tire off of the trailer right as we were turning to get on the interstate! That turned into a four hour delay, but how grateful we were that it came off while we were only going 25 mph and not 60 mph on the interstate! God is sovereign over all things! We stopped and visited with some wonderful friends in Kansas and were blessed by their hospitality and fellowship.

ReplyDeleteDitto what Chaucee said!!
ReplyDeleteAnd praise the Lord that your tire came off at the "right" time. Maybe that was just a reminder from the Lord that He was watching over you =)
I LOVE the picture of Moot at the end...he cracks me up!! What a little boy he is now :/
Yay for trips gone smoothly!! And don't you just LOVE LOVE LOVE knowing God is sovereign over all things! Who knows that four hour delay may have kept you safe from something else. Looks like you all experienced some good times too! Praise God! :)
